Useful tools. Local processing.

Your documents. Your browser.

PDF work,
without the upload.

Merge a pile of files. Fix a page. Convert a document. One workspace for the practical PDF jobs, with processing on your device.

The toolkit

Different jobs. Same document.

These capabilities share one editor. Remove and rearrange pages directly in the thumbnail view; there are no separate upload pages.

01

Organize

Get the right pages in the right order.

Merge
Combine documents into one PDF.
Split
Separate a PDF into smaller documents.
Remove & extract
Select thumbnails to delete unwanted pages or extract a selection into a new PDF.
Rearrange
Move page thumbnails into the order you want before downloading.
02

Optimize

Make a file more useful, not just smaller.

Compress
Optimize embedded images while retaining text and vector content. Balanced and stronger settings reduce image quality; original-quality mode uses lossless optimization. Already optimized files may not shrink.
Repair
Attempt to rebuild a PDF that can still be read. Recovery of damaged files is not guaranteed.
OCR
Recognize text from scanned pages. Language, scan quality and handwriting affect accuracy; review the output.
03

Convert

Bring your source material into the workspace.

Images to PDF
Turn PNG, JPEG and WebP images into PDF pages.
Word to PDF
Convert modern .docx pages to an image-based PDF. Fonts, pagination and complex layouts may differ from Word. Use OCR for searchable text. Legacy .doc is not supported.
Text to PDF
Create a PDF from a plain .txt file.
PDF to images & text
Export rendered pages as images or extract readable text. Scans need OCR first.
PDF to Word
Reconstruct editable DOCX text and layout from text-based PDFs, rather than page screenshots with appended text. Scanned pages need OCR first. Complex layouts may differ; this does not recover the original Word source.
04

Edit

Make practical changes with the page in view.

Page numbers & watermark
Add numbering or a text watermark to your pages.
Crop
Adjust the visible page area. Cropping is not secure removal of hidden content.
Text edit
Add text/images or replace supported top-level text objects. Nested Form XObject text is read-only; paragraphs do not reflow.
Forms
Work with supported PDF form fields. Complex or dynamic forms may not be compatible.
05

Security & review

Control access, remove sensitive content and inspect differences.

Unlock
Open an encrypted PDF with its correct password and save an unencrypted copy. This is not password cracking.
Protect
Add password protection to a PDF. Keep the password somewhere safe.
Redact
Permanently remove selected content while retaining surrounding text and vectors. Image-only pages use pixel redaction. Forms are flattened; metadata, attachments and thumbnails are removed. Review the export before sharing.
Compare
Inspect differences between documents. Visual comparison is a review aid, not a guarantee of identical content or meaning.

Local by design

Files stay on your side.

Your document content is processed in this browser, not sent to a conversion server. The site loads its application code, fonts and processing libraries; opening a file does not upload it.

Browser memory and your device set the practical limits. Large scans, OCR and image-heavy conversions can take time. Keep your originals, download results before closing the tab, and inspect the exported file before relying on it.

Before you start

Is this a full replacement for a desktop PDF editor?

No. It is a local workspace for common document jobs. Complex layouts, unsupported fonts, specialized forms and heavily damaged PDFs have limits. The editor explains tool-specific trade-offs before you apply a change.

Can I convert an old Word .doc file?

No. Word conversion accepts the modern .docx format only. Open a legacy .doc in a compatible word processor and save it as .docx first. Conversion may still change the original layout.

Will compression always make my PDF smaller?

No. Already optimized PDFs may not shrink. Compression optimizes embedded images while retaining text and vector content, rather than turning whole pages into images. Balanced and stronger settings trade image quality for size; original-quality mode keeps image quality unchanged with lossless optimization. Compare the result with the original.

Will PDF-to-Word recover my original Word document?

No. Text-based PDFs are reconstructed into editable DOCX text and layout, not screenshots with a second text copy. PDF does not preserve every Word editing structure, so complex columns, tables, fonts and positioning may differ. Run OCR on scanned pages before Word export, then review the result.

Can I recover a password I do not know?

No. Unlocking requires the correct password. Use it only for documents you are authorized to access.

Ready when your file is.
